Thought to be the final play that Shakespeare wrote by himself, THE TEMPEST is filled with amazing characters and scenes. It is the story of Prospero the Magician and his daughter Miranda marooned on a strange island for many years. Scholars have often thought that the play is autobiographical and that Prospero’s final words are Shakespeare’s farewell to the stage as he prepared to retire.

Project: ART Camp 2013   Leave a comment

Human Spirograph

Our first camp of the summer was titled Project: ART. We started the week with a game called “Clay Wars” where teams competed against each other with sculpting challenges such as “build the tallest tower in two minutes!” Campers then began working on scripts for their short films after discussing all of the necessary elements to create an interesting story.
