Our first camp of the summer was titled Project: ART. We started the week with a game called “Clay Wars” where teams competed against each other with sculpting challenges such as “build the tallest tower in two minutes!” Campers then began working on scripts for their short films after discussing all of the necessary elements to create an interesting story.
We got down on the floor to create giant human spirograph drawings inspired by Tony Orrico.
Campers began filming after casting parts, gathering costumes, and setting scenes.
Campers also did a lot of painting, experimenting, paper cutting, game playing, and even tattooed some bananas!
It was a great week with a great group of kids!
