Here at the Garfield Park Arts Center, we have several drawing benches placed throughout our gallery and we invite visitors the chance to sketch or doodle if they feel inspired to do so. Often, we find drawings left behind, and enjoy interpreting what the artist was thinking.
We would like to share these “found” masterpieces with the rest of the world, and so we are starting a series of blog posts entitled “Found Art Friday”. Each week, we will post a new drawing that has been discovered in our gallery or classroom.
This week’s entry has been coined “Potato Peeler Man”. Stay tuned for next week’s treasure!
